Chandigarh Labour Department has increased the minimum rates of wages payable to monthly and daily rated employees

Chandigarh May 25:- The U.T. Labour Department has increased the minimum rates of wages payable to monthly and daily rated employees. & nbsp; &n bsp; &nb sp; &nbs p; ; As the cost of living has increased by 20 points of living index number the per point neutralization in minimum rates of wages for monthly rated employees under the Minimum Wages Act is Rs.5/- per point. Thus minimum rates for wages for each category of employees have been increased Rs.100/- per month on the increase of 20 points.
& nbsp; &n bsp; Similarly daily rated employee will get increase of Rs.3.80 P. @ paise 0.19 per point ion the increase of 20 points.
